Wounded Soldiers at Mexborough Hospital

Wounded soldiers at the Montagu Hospital make the most of their enforced confinement during Christmastide.

They are seen in the above photo gathered round the bed of a “dummy” gassed soldier, and at the foot of the bed is a dummy nurse. Several of the soldiers are dressed in various costumes.
