Miss Florence Rutherford, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Rutherford, 35, Schofield Street, Mexborough, was married at Mexborough Parish Church on Saturday by the Rev. L. B. A: Somerset, to Mr. Walter Octavius Presley, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Presley. 57, South Crescent, Duckmanton.
The bride wore windswept satin beaute and pearls, and carried pink carnations. Her attendants, Misses Mona Birch and Dorothy Presley, were in powder blue taffeta and silver leaf headdresses, and carried pink and white chrysanthemums.
Messrs. Fred and Ernest Rutherford attended the bridegroom. At the reception at 35, Schofield Street, the bride’s mother wore a brown floral dress, and the bridegroom’s mother a similar ensemble.
