A pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Margaret’s Church, Swinton, on July 16th, the bride being Miss Barbara Hobson, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D . Hobson, of 2, Griffin Road, Swinton, and the bridegroom Mr. Harold Wyndham Searle, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Searle, of 72, Main Street, Mexborough.

The Vicar of Swinton, the Rev. W. Quarrell, officiated, and the organist was Mr. G. Parkinson-Eyre.
