Giddings-Milner

Miss Kathleen E. Giddings, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Giddings, 8 Hampden Road, Mexborough, was on Saturday married to Mr. Harold John Milner, third son of Mrs. and the late Mr. J. Milner, 11C Meadow View, Kilnhurst.

The ceremony took place at Mexborough Parish Church, the vicar, the Rev. E. B. A. Somerset, officiating. Mr. Robert Milner was best man and Messrs. Frank Milner and Charlie Giddings, groomsmen.

The bridal gown was of white satin, and the veil of Brussels net with orange blossom coronet. The bride carried pink roses and white heather. The attendants, Mrs. A. Tomlinson (junr.), Misses Alma Cooke and Muriel Giddings, were dressed in blue and pink organdie and had posies of pink roses. A reception was held at the bride’s home. The honeymoon is being spent at Blackpool.
