Miss Kathleen Curtis, third daughter at Mrs. Curtis and the late Mr. H. Curtis, of 65, Windhill Crescent, Mexborough, married at Mexborough Parish Church an Saturday, to Mr. Harry Haigh, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Haigh, of 27, Street, Mexborough.

The Rev. E. H. P. Rawlins officiated at the choral service, when the organist was Mr. P. Webb.

The bride, who given away by her uncle, Mr. E. Dobson, wore a white satin beaute gown with veil and wreath, and carried cream roses and lilies of the valley. Her bridesmaid was Miss Lucy Price, and Mrs. J. Firth was dame of honour. They wore apple green taffeta with head-dresses to tone, and carried pink carnations. The bridegroom’s gifts to the bridesmaids were handbags.

The best man was Mr. Gordon Williams and the groomsman was Mr. J. Firth. The bride’s mother wore a black georgette and lace dress with mauve hat and the bridegroom’s mother a navy satin beaute two-piece suit with hat to tone. A reception was held by the bride’s mother at the New Mason’s Arms.
