Wedding – Cramphorn & Goddard

The wedding took place at Swinton Parish Church on Saturday, of Miss Mary Elizabeth Cramphorn, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Cramphorn, 139, Wath Road, Mexborough, and Mr. Frederick Goddard, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Goddard, 16, Highwoods Road,  Mexborough.

The service was choral. Given away by her father, the bride wore white lace over net skirt held in place by gardenias, train , wreath and veil and carried red roses. She was attended by Misses Eveleen Cramphorn and Catherine Parton, in flowered taffeta, with Juliet caps and muffs, trimmed with anemones, and Misses Jones, Margaret Fox and Enid Burks, in white taffeta, red sashes and head-dresses to match, and carried Victorian posies of anemones. Trevor Brian was page boy.

Mr. P. Goddard was best man Mr. R. Hill groomsman.
