War Widow’s Pilgrimage

A young Mexborough war widow, Mrs. Daisy Cutts,  134, Wath Road, is to travel to Holland on May 6th for a four-day visit to the grave of her husband, who   is buried near Eindhoven.

Mrs. Cutts’ husband, a local sportsman, L/Bdr Wilson J. Cutts, was serving with the Royal Artillery as a despatch rider when killed in action in September.

He is buried in the Military Cemetery.
