Using Obscene Language in a Public Thoroughfare at Mexborough
Edward Plant, labourer, of Mexboro’, was charged with using obscene language.
P.c. Moore deposed that at 2.15 p.m. on the Monday previous he was on duty in High-street, Mexboro’, when he heard the defendant using obscene language. He had several times cautioned him before for the very same thing.
The defendant had no questions to ask.
The Superintendent said the defendant made a practice of using this improper language.
The defendant was fined 10s. and 13s. costs, and was cautioned as to his future conduct.
