Charles Hanmer, of Goldthorpe , author and producer of the new coalfield film, “The Toilers,” shown at Mexborough for the first time on Sunday.
The photograph shows Mr Hanmer sixteen years ago when studying for a mine surveyor’s ticket at Hickleton Main Colliery.
