Acquaintance Renewed.

Old friendships were renewed at St. George’s Church last night when the Rev. L. D. Ravins, a former Priest-in-charge, conducted a Harvest Festival service, Mr. Ravins, who completed his religious training at the College of St. Peter and St. Paul, Dorchester, spent 2 ½ years in Central Africa with the Universities’ Mission.

During the War he was a pilot cadet in the Royal Flying Corps, and he was a champion cross-country runner,

Mr. Ravins came to Mexborough from the parish of St. Augustine’s, Tonge Moor, Bolton (Lancs.) and stayed here for about 18 months. He is now Rector of Ludford.
