Gunner W Watson

Mr. and Mrs. William Watson, 11, Beaconsfield street, Mexboro’, have been notified that their son, Gunner W. Watson (R.F.A.), was wounded on October 17. A shell fell among a group of men and every one of them, including Gnr. Watson, was injured. Gnr. Watson is now in hospital at Wincanton, Somerset, doing well.

His elder brother is in hospital in Egypt with fever.

Their father, who was formerly a police-constable at Mexboro’, has also three sons-in-laws in the colours, two of whom have been casualties.
