Mr. Wright, the Mexboro’s Athletic Club Secretary, has done all possible, with the help of his committee, and the backing of the Sheffield and Hallamshire Football Association to make this initial venture of the kind a success, in the hope that further such honours may come to the Mexborough club and ground. The competitors tomorrow will be Sheffield and Manchester, two strong sides who drew at Manchester. Sheffield are the holders of the trophy. This is the third season of the competition. The first winner were Cheshire.
