Denaby Pit Heap is shown in a panel above three of the Northern Saints depicted in stained glass windows in Mexborough Parish Church.

The windows, dedicated on Sunday by the Ven. J. S. Brewis, Archdeacon of Doncaster, were provided front the estate of the late Mr John Sutton, of Mexborough.
