Mr Thomas West

The death occurred at 46, Cemetery Road, Mexborough, on Friday, of Mr.Thomas West, in his 92nd year.

A widower for 30 years, Mr. West lived with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. Batty.

He was born in Derbyshire and came to live in Mexborough when he was 30.

He was the town’s second oldest inhabitant.

The funeral took place at Mexborough cemetery on Tuesday, the Rev. J. W. B. Moore officiating.
