Joseph Wragg

The death occurred at Mexborough Montagu Hospital, on Saturday of Mr Joseph Wragg, of Pym Road Post Office, Mexborough.

Mr Wragg who was 48, and a good Army record, joining the Royal Sussex Regiment at the age of 18 and taking Part in the North West Frontier campaign after going to India in 1930. He joined the Bombay Armed Police and studied at the police College, Bombay.

On returning home in August 1937 he joined the staff of Imperial Chemical Industries, and was employed by them throughout the war.

Mr.Wragg later joined the staff of Mexborough Labour Exchange. He was a member of the Imperial Club Mexborough.
