Roman Catholics and others in a wide area of South Yorkshire learned with deep regret of the death on Sunday night for the very Reverend Canon James Holohan, Parish Priest of Saint Alban’s Denaby, and the English martyrs Church, Mexborough, since 1931.
He was also vice-chairman of Conisbrough Education Sub- Committee
He was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland
