Mr. Feltham, who is shortly to take up tho duties of Electrical Engineer to the Mexboro’ Urban District Council, is a native of Bury St. Edmund’s, and went to Gloucester early in life from Colchester.

He was educated at Sir Thomas Rich’s Grammar School, Gloucester, and won considerable distinction there.

Later, Mr. Feltham was articled to Mr. W. A. Walton, A.M.I.E.E., of Gloucester, for three years. and at the conclusion of that period, after a short term of service With Messrs. Crompton and Co., the well-known electrical engineering firm, accepted a post in the Corporation Electricity Department as engineer-in-charge.

He was subsequently promoted to station engineer, and in 1909 received the appointment of Chief Assistant Engineer, which post he now resigns to come to Mexboro’.

Mr. Feltham was elected an associate member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers in 1905. He is also a lecturer in electrical engineering at the Gloucester Technical Schools, a member of the Council of the Gloucestershire Engineering Society, and a stamp inspector for Gloucester in connection with the manufacture of high explosive shells.
