Mexborough Hippodrome Reopening on Boxing Day

After 18 months closure, the Mexborough Hippodrome will be reopened on Boxing Day by the Terence Byron Company of repertory players, whose first show will be “Peg o’ My Heart.

Mr Byron is among the countries leading repertory managers, and claim to have run more repertory seasons in the British Isles and any other professional producer. He will also have a company running at the Theatre Royal, Sheffield, during January.

A strong company is promised for the Mexborough season, and the plays are to be staged on the West End model.

The prices of the seats are to be made as reasonable as possible.
