Mexborough Girl Organist

Janet Sutton (16) only daughter of Mr, and Mrs. P. A. Sutton, of 1, Swinton ‘Road, Mexboro’, is now the youngest church organist in town. Having been appointed at Trinity Methodist Church. Miss Sutton, studied under Mrs. M. A. Daniels, then, organist at the Trinity Methodist Church, 18 months ago.

She had been deputy organist at  the Church for several weeks.

Mr. Sutton is Mexborough Area Sales manager of the “Yorkshire  Evening Post” and his daughter is employed by the County Library in Barnsley District.
