These two pictures, kindly loaned by Mr. Harry Midgeley, of 42, Edward Street, Swinton, will revive memories for some of our readers.
One shows children of Dolcliffe Road Infants’ School, Mexborough, in 1925 (Mr. Midgeley is second from the right on the back row). The other pictures pupils of Dolcliffe Road Boys’ School in the same year (Mr. Midgeley’s brother is second from the right on the middle row).
