Arrived In Canada

Friends of L.A.C. Kenneth Popple, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Verdi Popple, of Alexandra Road, Mexborough, will be pleased to learn that he has arrived safely in Canada, where he will continue his training as pilot in the R.A.F.V.R.

Mr. and Mrs. Popple received a cable from their son this week, conveying the news. An old boy of Mexborough Secondary School, Kenneth was employed in the offices of the Amalgamated Denaby Collieries before joining up.
