Another First Class Girl Guide

Following the announcement that Pat Andrews and Cicely Booth, of the 24th Mexboro’ Open Company, have passed their tests as First Class Girl Guides comes the news that 21 – year – old Miss Dorothy Wrench, Harlington Road, Mexboro’ captain of the Company, has won a similar honour.

Miss Wrench, a member of the Hill Girls’ Modern School staff, Thurnscoe, has qualified on a teaching basis and will be able to teach and examine First-Class Guide candidates.

To have three First-Class Guides in one Company is a rare Guide distinction.
