Accidents at Denaby Main Colliery.

A man named Jas. Oliver, living in Kirby Street, Mexboro while engaged in the sump at the Denaby Mam Colliery, was accidentally struck in the eye by an iron bar which he was using, and it is feared he will lose his sight.

Another employee at the same colliery, named Thomas Mincher, living in Chapel walk, Mexbro , also sustained an eye injury by reason of a piece of coal “flying ” while he was working.
