Accident at Denaby Main Colliery.

This morning a collier named Peter Emery, living at Denaby, and employed at the Denaby Main Colliery, was injured by a fall of coal.

He sustained a fracture to the right leg, and was at once removed to the newly opened Cottage Hospital Mexborough.

His was the first case at the hospital, and was attended by Dr. and Dr. Twigg, and is now progressing favourably.
