Private Haller, 29, Lorna road, Mexborough was wounded and captured on May 27, after spending only a month in the line.

He is 18, and enlisted last December.

Before enlistment he was employed.at the Barnburgh Colliery.

His brother, Gunner Heaton Haller (R.F.A.) was discharged last May, following trench fever. He had been serving since December 1916. He is a shoemaker.
