Private Lee, 90 Frederick St, Mexborough was wounded and gassed on July 23, and is now home on leave from Old Park Hospital, Canterbury.
He enlisted in April 1915 and served in Gallipoli and France.
He is a married man with four children and his brothers serving in Salonika.
