Excise Prosecutions

At the Doncaster Police Court on Wednesday, before C. E. S. Cooke, Esq., and F. J. Leather, Esq., John Brown, Barnburgh; William White, Conisbro’; Jno. Jamieson, Conisbro’; Henry Day, Conisbro’; John Hewitt, Conisbro’; William Billyard, Conisbro’; Henry Wilson, Conisbro’; John Barrow, Conisbro’; Thomas Fox, Conisbro’; William Horner, Conisbro’; Henry Bedford Balby; William Clifton, Balby; Henry Glover, Bentley Moor; Bamford John Swaby, Bentley; Thomas Chaton, Mexboro’; Alfred Carter, Mexboro’; Ephraim Davies, Mexboro’; William Wilson, Mexboro’; Jonathan Carr, Mexboro’; John Dyer, Mexboro’; George Hines, Mexboro’; and Richard Bywater, Park-lane, were each fined the mitigated penalty of 2s. 6d. for keeping dogs without licences.
