Mr. E. B. Popple, of Mexboro’, a well known baritone singer, is to broadcast from Manchester on November 15.

He will give a short programme of songs between 4-15 and 4-30 p.m. Mr. Popple has been asked before to broadcast from Leeds, but had to refuse owing to him being unable to get release from his teaching duties.

His brother, Mr. .T. Verdi Popple, has broadcasted on one or two occasions; with elocutionary items, character sketches, and so on, both from Sheffield and Manchester
