The wedding took place at Mexborough Parish Church on Thursday of Miss Marian White, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. White, 112 Hirst Gate, Mexborough to Mr. Douglas Haigh, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Haigh, Station Street, Swinton.
Given away by her father the bride wore a gown of ice blue and carried pink roses. She was attended by Miss J. Clark and Mrs. F. White.
Best man was Mr. J. F Phillipson and groomsmen Mr. A. Sharpe and Mr. F. White.
