A pretty wedding was solemnised last Thursday at Mexborough Parish Church, when Miss Doreen Stone, daughter of. Mr. W. Stone, of 2, Morton Road, Mexborough, was married, to Mr. Ronald Taylor Adamson, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Adamson, of 100, Doncaster Road, Mexborough. The Rev. E. H. P. Rawlins officiated, and Mr. L. Fletcher played appropriate organ music.

The bride, smartly attired in a two-piece of angora in Purvanche blue, trimmed with fox fur, with brown accessories, carried roses and heather. Her travelling costume consisted of a dress of brown Jersey cloth and a musquash coat.

Mrs. Freda Bearder, chief attendant wore a gown of pink wool romaine, trimmed with velvet and .a velvet toque, The other attendant, Miss Margaret Dodsworth, wore a similar ensemble in blue. Both carried anemones, and the pearl necklaces were the gifts of the bridegroom.

The best man was Mr. Erie Redman, of Rotherham, and Mr. Fred Barlow was groomsman. The bride’s mother wore a wine crepe dress with accessories to tone, and silver fox furs. Mrs. Adamson had chosen a rust dress with a brown felt hat and a spray of pink carnations
