Miss Betty Smith, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Smith, Bank Street, Mexborough, and Mr. Norman Linton, only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Linton, “Kingsway,” Townmoor Avenue, Doncaster, are to be married at Caxton Hall, Westminster, tomorrow.
Miss Smith, principal of dancing schools at Mexborough and Doncaster, is ballet mistress to the Dearne District Amateur Operatic Society, and has featured in Mexborough Society pro- ductions. She was formerly on the staff of the Convent Collegiate School, Doncaster, and was appointed last September to the staff of the Schofield Institute for keep-fit instruction. She is to continue dancing instruction.
Mr. Linton is a member of the surveying staff at Manvers Main collieries, and a member of Hickleton golf club. His father, Mr. F. A. Linton, was formerly agent and manager at Barnburgh Main, and is now general manager of Lloyds Perran Iron Works, Newquay, Cornwall.
