The marriage was solemnised at Mexborough Parish Church of Miss Ida Shaw, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Shaw 25, Herbert street, Mexborough and Mr. John William Hudson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Hudson, 10, Duke Street, Swinton.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a grey tweed costume and a floral hat. Bridesmaid was Miss Mary Shaw. Mr. J. Kelsey was best man, and Mr. Colin Hudson groomsman.
