At the Congregational Church, Mexboro’ on Tuesday, Miss Kathleen Phyllis Sinclair, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Sinclair, of The Pharmacy, Doncaster Road, Mexboro, was married to Mr. John Priestley, only son of Mr. Chas. Priestley, High Street, Mexboro’, and secretary of Dale, Brown and Co., Ltd., glass bottle manufacturers, Swinton, also organist of the Primitive Methodist Church, Swinton.

The ceremony, which was very pretty, was witnessed by a large congregation. The Rev. W. Simpson officiated. The bride was given away by her lather, and was attended by four bridesmaids. Miss Nina Haslam, Miss Mary Mawson, Joan Elliott and Mabel Elliott. She wore a graceful gown of white georgette with a bridal veil (lent by Mrs. H. E. Elliott) and coronet of orange blossom, and necklace of pearls.
