Sergnt E. D. Tetlow (Swinton) and Miss E. M. Potts (Mexborough)

The wedding took place yesterday at Mexborough Parish Church, the Rev. E. H. P. Rawlins officiating, of Miss Edna Mary Potts, daughter of Mrs. M. H. Potts and the late Mr. J. H. Potts, of 10. Auckland Road. Mexborough, and Sergt. Edwin Davy Tetlow, son of Mrs. A. E. Tetlow, and the late Mr. R. Tetlow, of “Rona Vista.” Racecourse Road, Swinton.

The service was choral, and Miss Mary Cox. A.L.C.M. was organist.

The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. J. W. V. Potts, wore a gown of white embossed French brocade with a ruched bodice and a full skirt which terminated in a short train. Her silk net veil was held by a wreath of lilies and she carried red roses and heather. She was attended by, Miss L. Potts and Miss E. Senior.

Mr. A. Tetlow (Manchester), was best man, the groomsman was Mr. L. Potts, and the usher Sergt. S. Wright.
