Miss Elsie Popplewell, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Popplewell, of 196, Wath Road, Mexborough, was married at Swinton Parish Churet by the Rev. T. G. Rogers, on Saturday, to Mr. Eric Hartley, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Hartley, of 6, Middle Avenue, Rawmarsh.

The bride was given away by her father, and wore a pale blue velvet gown with pale blue net veil, and wreath of orange blossom. She wore a diamante clip and carried white chrysanthemums.
