On Saturday, the marriage was solemnised at Mexborough Parish Church of Miss Rachel Parks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Parks, Derwent Terrace, Mexborough and Mr Gordon Massey, son of Mr and Mrs J Massey, Park Road, Mexborough.

The bride wore a marcom dress and coat with navy blue accessories. She carried mauve chrysanthemum. The bridesmaid Miss Winnie Marshall and Mrs E Massey, wore a fawn coat  and a navy blue costume respectively.
