The wedding took place at Mexborough Parish Church, on Saturday, of Miss Edna Morley, daughter of Coun. and Mrs. G. S. Morley, of 6, Alexandra Road, Mexborough, and Mr. Walter Nettleton, son of Mr. and Mrs H Nettleton, of 8, Victoria Road, Roman Terrace, Mexborough.

The Rev. E. H. P. Rawlins officiated at the choral ceremony. The organist was Mr. P. Webb.

The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a gown of white satin beaute with head-dress of white orange blossom and veil of embroidered lace. She carried yellow chrysanthemums and fern and was attended by Miss Joyce Morley who was attired in old gold satin beaute and Miss Vera Nettleton who wore a dress of blue satin beaute. They carried bronze chrysanthemums. The bridegroom’s gifts to the bridesmaids were diamante bracelets.

The best man was Mr. Ernest King and the groomsman MI Cyril Morley. The bride’s mother attended in a black floral silk dress with hat and coat to tone. A reception was held after the ceremony by the bride’s parents at their home.
