Hibbert – Moore
At Swinton Parish Church on Saturday Miss Ethel Moore eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Moore, 129, White Lea Road, Swinton was married to Mr. Charles William Hibbert, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hibbert, 182 Wath Road, Mexborough.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white satin beaute trimmed with pearls, a tuile veil and wreath of orange blossom and carried a bouquet of pink tulips. She was attended by Miss Ivy Moore (who wore orange satin) and Miss Emma Crooks (floral voile), and there were two small attendants, Laura and Mary Parkes, who were in pale blue silk. Each carried a bouquet of white tulips. The bride’s mother wore floral georgette and the bridegroom’s mother blue silk.
The best man was Mr. Harold White and the groomsman Mr. E. Gill, Normanton.
A reception was held in St. Michael’s School. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. L. W. Bedford.
