Wedding: Howarth & Hobson

Miss Constance Margaret Howarth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Howarth. 16. Harlington Lane, Mexborough, was married at the Free Christian Church Mexborough, on Monday. to Mr. George Hobson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hobson, 40, Schofield Street. Mexborough, the Rev. J. H. Smith officiating.
The service was choral, Mr. W. Fletcher played the organ, and the hymns “O perfect love” and “O love divine and golden” were sung. The bridal gown was of white silk crepe suede and lace, and the bouquet of carnations. The maids were Misses M. Yates, R. Jow, R. Bailey and D. Smith. The seniors were in pink floral georgette and their bouquets were of cream roses. The junior attendants wore frilled frocks of white net and carried posies of sweet peas. The bridegroom’s gifts to the maids were necklets.
Mr. A. Hobson was best man and Mr. T. Hobson groomsman. A reception was held in the Free Christian premises. The honeymoon is being spent at Scarborough
