A wedding of considerable local interest took place at Wath Pariah Church last Thursday. when Miss Joyce Gelder, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Gelder, of The Lodge, Wath Wood Hospital was married to Mr. Ernest Guest, only son of Mr. and Mrs. James Guest, of Bona Vista. Adwick Road. Mexborough.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an ice blue two-piece, trimmed with brown squirrel fur and carried pink carnations.

She was attended by her Miss Irene Gelder, who wore a clover dress with navy hat and carried yellow tulips. Mr. R. A. Houlton was best man and Mr. D. Drakeford groomsman. The organist was Mr. Schofield Hampshire. A reception was held at Church House, Wath. The bride’s mother wore a lagoon blue dress, with navy coat and hat and the bridegroom’s mother a clover two-piece with a burgundy hat.
