The wedding took place at Mexborough Parish Church on Tuesday, of Miss Elaine M. Crowcroft, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Crowcroft, of 21. Frederick Street, Mexborough, and Mr. Harold E. Ingham, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Ingham, of 5, South View. Main Street, Mexborough.
The Rev. G. Bernard conducted the choral service and Mr. L. Fletcher was organist.
The best man was Mr. Lawrence Harrison and groomsmen were Mr. W. J. Crowcroft and Mr. J. E. Crowcroft.
The bride was given away by her father and was attended by Mrs. G. W. Smith and Miss Marjorie Hepworth, who wore gowns of pink silk taffeta and white net respectively. The bride’s gown was of white lace over satin and her veil of fine net was held by a wreath of organdie ropes. She carried red carnations.
Among the gifts was a china fruit basket from the Nursing Staff of Mexborough Montagu Hospital, of which the bride as a member, and a cut glass salad bowl from employees of Crowcroft and Sons, Ltd., Mexborough.
