The wedding was solemnised at Mexborough Parish Church on Wednesday of Mr. Samuel Harold Jackson, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Jackson, of Ivanhoe,” Harlington Road, Mexborough, and miss Mary Corbett, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Corbett, of 72, Harlington Road, Mexborough.

The bride, who was given away by her brother. Corporal E. Corbett, R.A.S.C., wore a grey tailored coat and hat to match with navy accessories. She had a spray of anemones. She was attended by her sister, Miss Florence May Corbett, who wore a navy costume and hat, with white accessories, and wore a spray of white petunias. The best man was Mr. D. Drakeford. The bridegroom’s gift to the bridesmaid was a handbag.
