Miss Nora Vivian Amy Blakemore, youngest daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. A. Blakemore, 86, Victoria Road, Mexboro’, was married at the Congregational Church, Mexboro’, on Wednesday, by the Rev. W. Simpson, to Mr. George Alfred Edwards, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Edwards, 73, Burman Road, Wath.

Mr. V. Connelly, L.R.A.M., Sheffield, played suitable organ music. The bride wore blue floral ninon, with picture hat and pearls. Miss Maud Blakemore, her attendant wore blue taffeta with jewelled belt, and lemon hat. Both carried red roses.

Mr. R. T. Adamson was best man. A reception was held in the Congregational School. The honeymoon is being spent at Scarboro’.
