A gown of white lace and satin in crinoline style, with a veil and wreath of orange blossom, was worn by Miss Ethel Bennett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Bennett, of 8, Duke Street. Swinton, for her marriage at Swinton Parish Church, on Saturday, to Mr. Benjamin Cousins son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Cousins, of 11, Dodsworth Street, Mexborough.
The Rev. T. G. Rogers officiated.
The bride, carrying pink chrysanthemums, was given away by her uncle, Mr. B. Cowles, and the best man was Mr. J. Toft, the groomsman being Mr. John Bennett.
The bridesmaids were Misses M. Toft, P. Toft and J White, in gowns of lace and satin silver head-dresses. and Hilary Ratcliffe, Stella May Batty and Joan Sherburn, in white silk, trimmed with blue, and head-dresses to tone. The first three carried yellow chrysanthemums and the latter three pink posies. The bridesmaids received dressing cases from the bridegroom.
