A United Undenominational Service, arranged at the instance of the Mexborough Urban Council (Mr. D. S. Humphreys), was held in the Hippodrome, Mexborough, last night.

The theatre was crowded, and the stage was arranged a great display of flowers, brought to the service by bereaved families in memory of the fallen.

At Swinton, Wath-on-Dearne, and Thurnscoe, the civil authorities officially attended morning service at their respective parish churches.
