The Big Three.
A Snapshot taken in the ring at the Corn Exchange, Doncaster, on Monday evening—by the light of the electric lamps—just before the bout between Donald Shortland and Harry Crossley (left). The difference in physique between the two boxers is excellently shown here. Crossley gave away five inches in height, two inches in reach, and about 2st 5ibs in weight.
Between the two is the famous referee, Mr. Eugene Corri, making his first appearance in a Doncaster ring.
