Service Snaps

Two more of Mexborough’s serving men are Lee Tyas, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Tyas, 54, Dolcliffe Road, and Thos. Tyas, their eldest son.

Both are in active service in this country; Lee is a militiaman, but his brother has seen previous Army service. A soccer enthusiast Lee has won a medal while in the army, and one played with David Haigh’s Mexborough side.

He worked at Dale Brown for several years.

Thomas is married, and is held in Newcastle.
