Four Sons in Army

All four sons of Mr and Mrs A Ramsell, of 29, Albert Road, Mexborough, are serving in the Army.

Driver Ernest Ramsell (29), eldest son, joined the Army on December 12th, before which he was a plasterer at Denaby Main Colliery. He was born at Mexborough, is married and has one son. He is serving with the Royal Engineers.

Reuben and Malcolm are twins, being 27 years old, and are privates in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and the Pioneer Corps respectively. Malcolm joined up on the same day as Ernest. and formerly worked at Denaby Main Colliery. Reuben has been in the Army since June 22nd, and was previously employed aby a Sheffield firm. He is married.

The youngest son. Albert (24), is a driver in the Royal Army Service Corps, with which regiment he has been serving since June.
