A Mexborough Family Serving

The above are the four children of Mrs JW Dainty, of Kelvin St, Mexborough, who have all served their country during the present war.

On the left is Sgt Ernest Dainty (West Riding), who is returning from France in order to take up a Commission. While in France he has been acting as battalion drill instructor.
Miss Cissy Dainty (sister) is a nurse in the third Northern Base Hospital, Sheffield.

Lance Corporal Jack Dainty (third from the left) and Driver Clarence Dainty (right) have been discharged from the army on medical grounds.
