Private Arthur Lewis (K.O.Y.L.I.) and Private Albert Lewis (Northumberland Fusiliers)

Official news has been received that Pte. Arthur Lewis (K.O.Y.L.I.), (Picture left) formerly of 33, Belmont-street, Mexborough, has been missing, since April 13.

He was a married man with two children, and enlisted in 1914. Any news concerning him will be gratefully received by his sister, Mrs T. Ryder, at the above address.

Previous to enlistment be was employed at the Denaby Colliery.

His brother, Pte. Albert Lewis (Northumberland Fusiliers), (picture right) 4, Foundry-lane’, Mexhoro’, has been gassed, and has been in hospital He is married, and prior to enlistment was employed at Messrs. Waddington’s Glassworks,
